People Power – energy switching scheme
How would you like to save money on your energy bill?
People Power logo
We are powering a community energy scheme that will benefit you and the whole community.
People Power is a collective energy buying scheme led by 13 Lancashire councils, including Preston City Council.
You can sign up for the scheme up to and including Monday 12 October 2015. On 13 October an auction will take place with energy providers. Once the best deal has been negotiated, you will receive an offer by email (if you do not have an email address you will receive the offer by post).
By joining forces we can get a better deal from the energy providers and the more people that join, the better deal we can get. This saving is then passed onto you.
By signing up you are not committing to taking up the deal. Once we’ve been in touch with the offer you will be given the option to accept or decline. There is no obligation to switch suppliers and no long term contracts.
So what have you got to lose? It’s time for you to take power over your energy bill.
Signing up is easy and hassle free. Just follow the 3 steps below;
Visit the iChooser website by 12 October 2015.
Enter your details and energy usage (remember to have a recent gas and electric bill to hand).
Sit back and relax while we negotiate a better energy deal on your behalf during an online energy auction on 13 October 2015.
Need help signing up?
You can drop into the Town Hall and someone there will assist you in signing up or you can call (01772) 906355, 906575 or 906825.
The more people who sign up, the greater the buying power we have. So spread the word and together we have the power to start saving money on our energy bills. There is no obligation to switch suppliers and no long term contracts, so what have you got to lose?
